Warba Finance & Dev Bank sponsors the Seven Football Championship for companies in its sixth edition

Warba Finance & Dev Bank sponsors the seven football tournament for companies in its sixth edition, which is organized by the Corporate Sports Federation, with the participation of 25 teams distributed into four groups.

The bank also participates in a sports team consisting of 18 players, an administrative manager and a coach. The bank’s sponsorship of the championship comes out of its commitment to social responsibility, which has attached great importance since its inception in 1996. The bank supported a large number of different activities, including sports activities within the country and sports activities that are conducted by some Kuwaiti communities abroad.

The bank's leadership, headed by Mr. Shawki Ahmed Hayel Saeed, Chairman of the Bank's Board of Directors, is also interested in sponsoring sports activities, as he is known to be a supportive and sports-loving personality.

It is worth noting that Warba Finance & Dev Bank has a tangible activity in supporting various community initiatives, whether economic events such as its sponsorship of the Start-up event, entrepreneurship and small projects, the Global Entrepreneurship Week, TEDx events, and others.

  In the field of training and qualifying university students to qualify them for the labor market, the bank organized a number of training events on various banking fields.
